It is located between the Pacific and the Indian Ocean in the Southern Hemisphere and has the lowest population density in the world with only 2 people per square km and a total of over 26 million inhabitants by 2020. Majority of Australian population is concentrated around the coast, leaving vast areas hardly populated and nearly untapped by humans.

To give you an idea of Australia’s real size we can say that is roughly the same size of USA and slightly smaller than the whole European continent!!
